Matteo Piccolo aka Teti is an Italian artist raised and based in the south suburbs of Milan, where he's carrying on his father's work in a pallet company.
For nearly two years I have been visiting the company regularly while it was off work; I, therefore, chose to shoot Teti's works where these took shape and where the artist continually takes inspiration to create them.
Many of these works are made entirely or in part with the only raw material present in the company, poplar wood; but what most characterizes them is the repetitiveness of the forms and subjects that unconsciously reflects the mechanical and regular actions Teti is called upon to do in the family business.
